another update
After a long time out I finally took the time to update the blog software and the blog content itself. Some time ago I managed to implement a redirection from my old blog (cb-tools.pytalhost.de/blog) to this one. Credits go to Rob Marsh for this wonderful plugin “Moving Your Blog“. It works very well and I could even adopt this tiny little script to redirect to the correct ID. (The internal ID’s changed because I exported/imported the database instead of copying over)
The next point on my last To-Do list was this YouTube bug within wordpress which is fixed by the pb-embedFlash plugin from Pascal Berkhahn. A cool thing if you want to implement some kind of flash video or audio player.
At the moment I don’t have a clue what I should add to my linklist. I just know to many good blogs and websites. Perhaps I should mention some links at the end of each post.
The last bullet on the old To-Do list was to publish the phpComasy modules. I’ve already published them on the phpComasy website but it seems they have problems with there domain so I can’t link there at the moment. But I have uploaded the modules to my own site to give them an interim home.
I also have a new To-Do list with more BOINC specific topics:
- update the BOINC VMware images with the newest code
- find a free and open bittorrent tracker to distribute new BOINC VMware images (any hints?)
- take a look at the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud technology
